Film Projects
In 2002, Escape set out to produce feature films for theatrical release. The world has changed a lot since then and the landscape of the theatrical film market has changed dramatically. Our primary interest is still the production of feature motion picture films.
"The Tall Tale Heart" was Escape's first venture into the cinematic world. Our goal was to measure how much could be done and to what degree of quality when working with a limited budget while simultaneously maximizing the potential of our years of experience and unique skill sets. The project was a success and went on to garner a number of international awards and even screened at Cannes in 2005.
With the arrival of the Red 4K Ultra-Def camera in November, Escape will launch production of its first major feature film project, "Island." While we can't tell you too much yet, we can tell you that it's a horror/thriller that takes place on an island (you probably already guessed that!). "Island" marks the first of our line up of five feature projects for 2007.
